229  Record of standards or engineering principles used  (1) If the design of plant is required to be registered under Part 5.3, the designer of the plant must record any published technical standard, including any part of a published technical standard, that was used to design the plant. Note: Section 12F of the Act provides that strict liability applies to each physical element of each offence under the Act, unless otherwise stated. The reference in section 12F of the Act includes these Regulations.  (2) If the designer of the plant has not used published technical standards to design the plant, the designer must record any engineering principles used to design the plant.
