198  Information to be obtained and provided by supplier   A supplier of plant must:  (a) take all reasonable steps to obtain the information required to be provided by the manufacturer under paragraphs 23(4)(a) and (c) of the Act and these Regulations; and  (b) ensure that, when the plant is supplied, the person to whom the plant is supplied is given the information obtained by the supplier under paragraph (a). Note: Section 12F of the Act provides that strict liability applies to each physical element of each offence under the Act, unless otherwise stated. The reference in section 12F of the Act includes these Regulations.
