254 Design verification statements not to be made in certain circumstances

254 Design verification statements not to be made in certain circumstances

A person must not make a design verification statement for the design of an item of plant specified in Schedule5, Part 1 if the person—

(a) is not eligible to be a design verifier for that design, or

(b) has not carried out a verification of the design.

Maximum penalty—

(a) for an individual—43 penalty units, or

(b) for a body corporate—217 penalty units.
