142C Demolition worker must be trained

142C Demolition worker must be trained

(1) A demolition licence holder must not allow a worker to carry out licensed demolition work, including work directly connected to the carrying out of licensed demolition work, on the licence holder’s behalf unless the licence holder is satisfied the worker has completed an approved course in safe demolition practice delivered by an authorised registered training organisation.

Maximum penalty—

(a) for an individual—73 penalty units, or

(b) for a body corporate—364 penalty units.

(2) Subsection (1) applies in addition to the training required by Part 3.2, Division 1.

(3) In this section—

approved course means a course approved under section 142E.

authorised registered training organisation means a registered training organisation authorised under section 142E to deliver an approved course.
