746Registered assessors become accredited assessors

746 Registered assessors become accredited assessors before 1 January 2012, registered under old WHS regulation 28. (2) On 1 January 2012, the person becomes an accredited assessor under NUL Part 4.5, Division 2. (3) If the person was registered under old WHS regulation 28 on or after 1 July 2010, the person's accreditation expires 3 years after the person was registered. (4) If the person was registered under old WHS regulation 28 before 1 July 2010, the person's accreditation expires: (a) if the person had, before 1 January 2012, been recognised by the old WHS Authority as having the workplace assessor competencies mentioned in clause 6.11(a) of the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work – 3 years after the person was so recognised; or (b) otherwise – on 1 July 2012.
