279 Decision on application (1) The regulator must renew the registration of an item of plant if the regulator is satisfied that: (a) the application for renewal has been made in accordance with this Division; and (b) the plant has been maintained, inspected and tested in accordance with regulation 213. (2) For the purposes of this Division: (a) regulation 268 applies as if a reference in that regulation to an application for registration were a reference to an application to renew registration; and (b) regulations 269 (except subregulation (5)), 271 and 272 apply as if a reference in those regulations to the grant of a registration were a reference to the renewal of a registration; and (c) regulation 270 applies as if a reference in that regulation to a refusal to grant a registration were a reference to a refusal to renew a registration.
