16 Request for additional information or documents

(1) For the purposes of deciding the application, the Minister may, by writing, request the applicant to give the Minister such further information or documents that: (a) the Minister considers necessary to enable the Minister to make a decision on the application; and (b) are specified in the request. (2) If the applicant does not give the information or documents to the Minister within 20 business days after the request is given (or such longer period as is specified in the request or is approved by the Minister in writing upon the written request of the applicant), the application is taken to have been withdrawn.
