4 Requests to keep removed identity records—the Act, ss 19B(4) and 38A(2)(b)

An authorised person or interstate entity making a request under the Act, section 19B(2) must—

(a) make the request within 20 business days after removing the identity record, and

(b) give the identity record to the Commissioner of Police—

(i) in accordance with section 6(2), and

(ii) within 20 business days after making the request.
