31F Definitions
> In this Part—
>
> audio visual link means facilities (including closed-circuit television) that enable audio and visual communication between persons at different places.
>
> court includes a tribunal, Royal Commission or other commission of inquiry and the person or body holding or conducting a relevant proceeding.
>
> protected witness means a person who is, or has been, a participant in a witness protection program.
>
> relevant proceeding means any of the following—
>
> > (a) a proceeding before a court,
>
> > (b) an inquest or inquiry under the [Coroners Act 2009](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2009-041),
>
> > (c) a hearing under the [Crime Commission Act 2012](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2012-066) or the [Special Commissions of Inquiry Act 1983](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1983-090),
>
> > (d) an inquiry under the [Royal Commissions Act 1923](/view/html/inforce/current/act-1923-029),
>
> > (e) an examination under the [Law Enforcement Conduct Commission Act 2016](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2016-061).
