102 Application for omission of foreign GI or translation of foreign GI
(1) A person may apply to the Geographical Indications Committee to omit from the Register a GI in relation to a foreign country or a region or locality in a foreign country, on the ground that the GI is not in use. (2) If an application is made to omit a GI from the Register, and a translation of that GI is included in the Register, the application is taken to be for omission of both the GI and the translation. (3) A person may apply to the Committee to omit a registered translation from the Register on the ground that the translation no longer conveys or evokes the significance of the GI for which it was registered.
