Part 1 Preliminary
1 Name of Act
This Act is the Wills Act 1968.
2 Dictionary
The dictionary at the end of this Act is part of this Act.

definition, or another provision of the Act, provides otherwise or the

5 Application of Act
Except as otherwise provided by this Act, this Act applies to and in
relation to a will or testamentary disposition of a person who dies
after the commencement of this Act, whether the will or testamentary
disposition was made before or after the commencement of this Act.

after 24 March 1989 or taking effect after 7 November 1991.
