Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This is a short, housekeeping law that removes obsolete regulations about the Williamstown Rifle Range in Victoria.

What it does:

Cancels the Williamstown Rifle Range Regulations from 1929 (which were rules governing how that specific Defence rifle range could be used)
Took effect on 1 July 1985

Who it affects: Primarily Defence Force personnel and any shooting clubs or individuals who were still technically bound by the 56-year-old rules about that specific rifle range.

Why it matters: It is a legislative cleanup measure. Rather than changing how the range operates, it simply removes outdated rules that were no longer needed, likely because newer Defence policies or different legislative arrangements had superseded them.
