Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This is a technical tidy-up amendment that syncs the dictionary of the Wheat Products Export Adjustment Act 1974 with newer legislation.

What it does

Replaces the old definitions section with a simple rule: if a word is defined in the Wheat Marketing Act 1979, use that same meaning here.
This ensures terms like "wheat products" or "export" mean exactly the same thing across both laws, preventing arguments about which definition applies.

Who it affects

Wheat farmers, grain exporters, and the Wheat Export Authority (as it was then known).

Why it matters

It keeps the export adjustment scheme consistent with the broader overhaul of wheat marketing law in 1979, reducing red tape and legal confusion.

In short: It's a housekeeping exercise to make two related laws speak the same language.
