Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This is a technical amendment that updates the dictionary (interpretation section) of the Wheat Products Export Adjustment Act 1974.

What it does:

Repeals and replaces the old interpretation section (Section 3) with a new one
Defines 'wheat products' by pointing to the Wheat Export Charge Act 1974-1976 — ensuring both laws use the exact same definition
States that other expressions used in the Act have the same meanings as they do in the Wheat Industry Stabilization Act 1974-1976

Why it matters: This keeps the wheat industry's legal framework consistent. By linking definitions across these Acts, farmers, exporters, and regulators don't have to juggle different meanings for the same terms when dealing with export charges, stabilization schemes, and adjustment payments.
