sec.88 Translocating a crustacean or fish
This section applies if— before the 2020 amendment day, a person held an authority issued under the Fisheries Act 1994 authorising the person to translocate a crustacean or fish in the area; and the authority was in force immediately before the 2020 amendment day. The person may translocate the crustacean or fish in the area under the authority while the authority is in force. This section applies despite section 26(1)(c) but does not authorise a person to translocate a fish of a species mentioned in schedule 2A, part 1 in the area. s 88 ins 2020 SL No. 176 s 56 (sec.88-ssec.1) This section applies if— before the 2020 amendment day, a person held an authority issued under the Fisheries Act 1994 authorising the person to translocate a crustacean or fish in the area; and the authority was in force immediately before the 2020 amendment day. (sec.88-ssec.2) The person may translocate the crustacean or fish in the area under the authority while the authority is in force. (sec.88-ssec.3) This section applies despite section 26(1)(c) but does not authorise a person to translocate a fish of a species mentioned in schedule 2A, part 1 in the area.
- (a) before the 2020 amendment day, a person held an authority issued under the Fisheries Act 1994 authorising the person to translocate a crustacean or fish in the area; and
- (b) the authority was in force immediately before the 2020 amendment day.
