sec.46 Category M knife
A miscellaneous weapons licence may be issued for a category M knife only if an authorised officer is satisfied the applicant for the licence has a special occupational need for the knife. If the applicant applied for a miscellaneous weapons licence for a category M knife, the licence authorises the licensee to possess and use the type of category M knife stated on the licence, to satisfy the need stated on the licence. (sec.46-ssec.1) A miscellaneous weapons licence may be issued for a category M knife only if an authorised officer is satisfied the applicant for the licence has a special occupational need for the knife. (sec.46-ssec.2) If the applicant applied for a miscellaneous weapons licence for a category M knife, the licence authorises the licensee to possess and use the type of category M knife stated on the licence, to satisfy the need stated on the licence.
