sec.29 Firearms licence—category A or B weapons
Other than as provided in section 30 , 31 , 32 , 33 , 174 or 175 , a firearms licence— may be issued only for a category A or B weapon; and authorises the licensee to possess and use any weapon of the category endorsed on the licence. For transitional provisions about particular lever action shotguns with a magazine capacity of more than 5 rounds, see part 31 , division 2 . s 29 amd 2017 SL No. 212 s 9
- (a) may be issued only for a category A or B weapon; and
- (b) authorises the licensee to possess and use any weapon of the category endorsed on the licence.
