sch.4-sec.1 Methods
A firearm may be modified to make it permanently incapable of being discharged by— fusion welding under part 2 ; or sectioning under part 3 . However, a firearm made of plastic or light alloy may be modified to make it permanently incapable of being discharged only by sectioning under part 3 . (sch.4-sec.1-ssec.1) A firearm may be modified to make it permanently incapable of being discharged by— fusion welding under part 2 ; or sectioning under part 3 . (sch.4-sec.1-ssec.2) However, a firearm made of plastic or light alloy may be modified to make it permanently incapable of being discharged only by sectioning under part 3 .
- (a) fusion welding under part 2 ; or
- (b) sectioning under part 3 .
