6 Additional grounds for refusal of permit
(1) A permit must not be issued to a person who is subject to a firearms prohibition order under the Firearms Act 1996.
(2) The Commissioner may refuse to issue a permit to a person if the Commissioner considers that issue of the permit would be contrary to the public interest.
