12 Application for approval to manufacture weapons
(1) A person may apply to the Director for approval to manufacture a weapon other than a firearm in the Territory, or to arrange for a weapon other than a firearm to be manufactured in the Territory, for: (a) a project mentioned in a declaration under section 16; or (b) a project for which the person has applied for a declaration under section 16. (2) An applicant for an approval under subsection (1) must specify the kind of weapon to be manufactured and the project for which the weapon is to be used.
