23 Surrender of licence (1) A licensee may surrender his or her licence by written notice given to the Utilities Commission. (2) The notice must be given to the Utilities Commission at least 6 months before the surrender is to take effect or, if the licence requires a longer period of notice, as required by the licence.
Water Supply and Sewerage Services Act 2000 11 (3) The Utilities Commission may, by agreement with the licensee, shorten the required period of notice.
