104 False or misleading information A person must not make a statement that is false or misleading in a material particular (whether by reason of the inclusion or omission of any particular) in any information provided under this Act. Maximum penalty: 50 penalty units. If the person made the statement knowing that it was false or misleading: in the case of a natural person – 200 penalty units or imprisonment for 12 months; and in the case of a corporation – 1 000 penalty
