Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

These regulations declare the Clare Valley area (shown on GRO Plan No 368/1996) to be a surface water prescribed area under the Water Resources Act 1997 and set the establishment and prescribed periods (regs 3–4). That designation places persons and activities in that geographic area within the Act’s surface‑water regulatory regime for the stated dates, so affected parties must consult the plan and the Act to determine applicable obligations (regs 3–4).
