77G Offences—contravening certain conditions of licence to
take water
(1) The holder of a licence to take water commits an offence if—
to install a water meter; and
(2) The holder of a licence to take water commits an offence if—
to maintain a water meter in working condition; and
(3) The holder of a licence to take water commits an offence if—
to record water meter readings at stated times or intervals; and
Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.
(4) The holder of a licence to take water commits an offence if—
to give water meter data to the authority; and
(5) The holder of a licence to take water commits an offence if—
(a) the holder’s licence is subject to a condition limiting the use of
the water; and
(6) An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
