60 Grounds for disciplinary action
Each of the following is a ground for disciplinary action against a
person who holds a water access entitlement, surviving allocation or
licence:
(a) the person gave information to the Minister or authority in
relation to the application for, or an application for amendment
of, the entitlement, allocation or licence that was false or
misleading in a material particular;
(b) the person has contravened, or is contravening, a condition of
the entitlement, allocation or licence;
(c) the person has contravened, or is contravening, this Act (or a
requirement made under this Act), whether or not the holder has
been convicted or found guilty of an offence for the
contravention;
(d) the person has contravened, or is contravening, another territory
law or a law of the Commonwealth, a State or another Territory
(whether or not the person has been convicted or found guilty of
an offence for the contravention) and the authority has
reasonable grounds for believing that the contravention would
adversely affect the person’s suitability to hold the entitlement,
allocation or licence.
