112 Surviving allocations—surrender by water utility (1) This section applies to a surviving allocation held by a water utility. (2) The utility may surrender the allocation to the authority and request a water access entitlement under section 111 before the end of 6 months after the commencement day. (3) If the utility does not surrender the allocation to the authority before the end of that 6-month period, the allocation is taken to be surrendered to the authority and the authority must grant a water access entitlement to the utility under section 111.
