sec.171 Application of new s 64 to notice of applications for water allocation dealing not published before commencement
This section applies, if— before the commencement, a person made an application for a water allocation dealing under section 63; and immediately before the commencement— the water allocation dealing rules required the applicant to publish a notice under former section 64; and the applicant had not published that notice. From the commencement— new section 64 applies in relation to the application; and former section 64 does not apply in relation to the application. In this section— former section 64 means section 64 as in force immediately before the commencement. new section 64 means section 64 as in force from the commencement. s 171 ins 2025 SL No. 64 s 11 (sec.171-ssec.1) This section applies, if— before the commencement, a person made an application for a water allocation dealing under section 63; and immediately before the commencement— the water allocation dealing rules required the applicant to publish a notice under former section 64; and the applicant had not published that notice. (sec.171-ssec.2) From the commencement— new section 64 applies in relation to the application; and former section 64 does not apply in relation to the application. (sec.171-ssec.3) In this section— former section 64 means section 64 as in force immediately before the commencement. new section 64 means section 64 as in force from the commencement.
