sec.128 Records of water bores drilled— Act , s 983L

For section 983L (1) of the Act , the following is the information required to be kept about each water bore drilling activity— the name and address of the owner of the land on which the activity is being carried out; the location of the activity; the name and water bore driller’s licence number of the driller performing the work; the drilling method used; the dates the water bore drilling activity started and finished; details of the following— the strata drilled; water produced by the strata, including the volume and quality of the water, the depth at which it is struck and the depth to which it rises naturally; the borehole diameter; the type and diameter of the bore casing; the diameter and location of the borehole cementing; the number and size of the slots or perforations in the casing, or screens installed, for water entry; an estimation of the rate at which water may be produced from the bore.
