sec.116 Limitation on taking or interfering with groundwater— Act , s 101
This section limits the groundwater that may be taken or interfered with under section 101 (1) of the Act . A person may only take or interfere with groundwater in a groundwater management area— under a water permit; or under a water licence; or under an interim water allocation; or under a water allocation; or for stock or domestic purposes; or for an activity prescribed under a regulation for section 101 (1) (a) of the Act . s 116 amd 2013 Act No. 23 s 352 sch 1 pt 2 ; 2015 SL No. 121 s 11 ; 2021 SL No. 71 s 35 (sec.116-ssec.1) This section limits the groundwater that may be taken or interfered with under section 101 (1) of the Act . (sec.116-ssec.2) A person may only take or interfere with groundwater in a groundwater management area— under a water permit; or under a water licence; or under an interim water allocation; or under a water allocation; or for stock or domestic purposes; or for an activity prescribed under a regulation for section 101 (1) (a) of the Act .
