100 Certification of metering equipment accuracy under transitional arrangements

(1) A duly qualified person who checks metering equipment for accuracy under Schedule 5, section 9 must give the person for whom the check is done a certificate certifying whether the maximum permissible error of the metering equipment is—

(a) more than plus or minus 5% in the field, or

(b) not more than plus or minus 5% in the field.

Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.

(2) The duly qualified person must give the certificate—

(a) in the approved form and manner, and

(b) within 7 days after the check.

Maximum penalty—100 penalty units.
