400 Regulations
> > (1A) The Governor may make regulations about a matter that is—
> >
> > > (a) required or permitted by this Act to be prescribed, or
> >
> > > (b) necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or giving effect to this Act.

> > (1) In particular, the regulations may make provision about—
> >
> > > (a) the forms to be used in connection with the administration of this Act, and
> >
> > > (b) the fees and charges to be imposed in connection with the administration of this Act, and the circumstances under which fees and charges may be waived, reduced and remitted, and
> >
> > > (c) the requirement for security deposits and the amount of security, including the circumstances in which the Minister may determine the amount, and
> >
> > > (c1) the circumstances in which security deposits are forfeited and the application of money arising from the forfeiture of security deposits, and
> >
> > > (d) the regulation and control of bore drilling and the licensing of bore drillers, and
> >
> > > (e) the information to be provided to the Minister by the holder of any approval under this Act, including the circumstances in which any such information must be verified by statutory declaration, and
> >
> > > (f) the regulation of vessels and works on or along the Murray River, including the following—
> > >
> > > > (i) the regulation and control of vessels at or near locks, weirs and other works,
> > >
> > > > (ii) the management and control of works.

> > (2) A regulation may make provision for or with respect to the exemption of any person, matter or thing from the operation of this Act or any specified provision of this Act, either unconditionally or subject to conditions.

> > (3) A regulation may create an offence punishable by a penalty not exceeding—
> >
> > > (a) for a corporation—200 penalty units, or
> >
> > > (b) otherwise—100 penalty units.
>
> > (4) A regulation may apply, adopt or incorporate any publication as in force from time to time.
