#### 370C Contravention by corporation 370C Contravention by corporation > > (1) If a corporation contravenes a civil penalty provision, each of the following persons is taken to have contravened the same provision if the person knowingly authorised or permitted the act or omission constituting the contravention— > > > > > (a) a director of the corporation, > > > > > (b) a person involved in the management of the corporation. > > > (2) Proceedings may be taken against a person for a contravention of a civil penalty provision whether or not proceedings have been taken against the corporation. > > > (3) Nothing in this section affects any liability imposed on a corporation for a contravention of a civil penalty provision by the corporation. > > **s 370C:** Ins 2025 No 70, Sch 3\[138\].
