236 Protection of meters
[Section 236 Amended by No. 56 of 2008, s. 107, Applied:11 Feb 2009] The occupier of land on which a meter is installed pursuant to this Act must at all times take all reasonable measures to protect it from damage or interference and is responsible for its safekeeping.
Penalty: Fine not exceeding 10 penalty units and, in the case of a continuing offence, a further fine not exceeding one penalty unit for each day during which the offence continues.
