82 Transition for existing Part 7 operators

(1) If an infrastructure operator was a Part 7 operator immediately before 1 July 2020, then, on and after that date, it continues to be a Part 7 operator until it ceases to be a Part 7 operator in accordance with subrule 45(3) as in force immediately before 1 July 2020. Application of Division 2 of Part 7 to existing Part 7 operators (2) Division 2 of Part 7, as amended by the amending rules, applies to an infrastructure operator covered by subrule (1) as though: (a) a reference to the ACCC were a reference to the Regulator; and (b) Regulator had the same meaning as immediately before 1 July 2020.
