76 Disconnection fee

(1) Subject to subrule (2), nothing in these Rules prevents an infrastructure operator imposing a fee in respect of the reasonable costs incurred by the operator by reason only of removing or disabling a physical connection between the operator’s water service infrastructure and the infrastructure of a person who holds or has held a right of access to that water service infrastructure. (2) A fee levied for the purposes of subrule (1) must be identified as a disconnection fee in the operator’s applicable schedule of charges, whether or not it is payable at the same time as a fee under Division 2.
