Tasmania regulation
This order renews, for six months from 30 June 2010, an exemption that relieves all persons except the Regional Corporations from compliance with sections 20(2) and 30 of the Water and Sewerage Industry Act 2008. It affects industry participants outside the Regional Corporations and matters because it temporarily suspends specified statutory obligations, shifting compliance and enforcement responsibilities onto Regional Corporations while delaying duties and regulatory costs for others.
