71A Water extraction licence decision and application of Part (1) A water extraction licence decision is a decision about an application to which this Part applies. (2) This Part applies to an application for either or both of the following: (a) the grant of a water extraction licence; (b) an amendment or modification of one or more water extraction licences involving an increase in the total quantity of water that may be taken under the licence or licences. (2A) However, this Part does not apply to either of the following: (a) the transfer of an entitlement to take water under a licence and related amendment of one or more licences under Part 6AA; (b) an application made because of the subdivision or (3) This Part does not apply to an application for the renewal of a water extraction licence under section 93A.
