55 Power to require information about bore (1) The Controller may, by Gazette notice, require an owner or occupier of land or land of a specified class, either generally or within a specified area: (a) to provide information in relation to any bores situated on the land; and (b) to provide the information within a specified time or as soon as practicable after the completion of bore work. (a) is required by a notice under subsection (1) to provide information; and (b) fails to comply with the requirement. (3) An offence against subsection (2) is an offence of strict liability.
