Ends government controls over coal tar, which had been regulated as a strategic material needed for explosives, dyes, and chemicals during the war

Who it affects

Businesses, manufacturers, and traders who were operating under the 1916 coal tar restrictions
Industries using coal tar derivatives (such as synthetic dyes or chemical products)

Why it matters With the war ending, these emergency powers are no longer needed. This removes bureaucratic controls and allows the coal tar market to return to normal peacetime commercial operations.
