Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

This law authorises the Australian Government to withdraw £10 million from the national treasury (the Consolidated Revenue Fund) to pay for war pensions—financial support for World War I veterans and their families.

The money is directed into a special 'War Pensions Fund' established under auditing legislation. In practical terms, this is a budget approval: Parliament is granting the government permission to spend this specific amount on pension payments for returned servicemen.
