Plain English Summary

1/10 complexity

These regulations set basic rules for committees assisting the Australian War Memorial: members elect their Chair (who has a normal vote but no casting vote), meetings require a minimum quorum of two, tied votes can be deferred if full membership isn’t present, and committees must report to the Memorial’s Board on request.

They apply to committees under the Australian War Memorial Act and aim to protect democratic, transparent decision‑making while allowing routine business to continue.
