act

Plain English Summary

2/10 complexity

Mechanically, this Act formally appropriates $55,000,000 from the General Loan and Capital Works Fund to cover a repayment (made from the Treasurer’s Advance Account in 1989–90) to Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd for interim financing of Western Australian Government Holdings Limited (s3). It affects Western Australia's public finances by charging that capital fund — the state's loan-and-works account bears the cost — and regularises a prior Treasurer’s Advance payment into a parliamentary appropriation.
