sec.4 Meaning of exclusivity period
The exclusivity period , for a race wagering licence, is the period starting on 1 July 2014 and ending— 30 years after 1 July 2014; or if, within the period of 30 years after 1 July 2014, a race wagering licence held by UBET or a UBET subsidiary is cancelled, surrendered or ceases to have effect for another reason (other than suspension)—on the day the licence is cancelled, surrendered or otherwise ceases to have effect. - (a) 30 years after 1 July 2014; or
- (b) if, within the period of 30 years after 1 July 2014, a race wagering licence held by UBET or a UBET subsidiary is cancelled, surrendered or ceases to have effect for another reason (other than suspension)—on the day the licence is cancelled, surrendered or otherwise ceases to have effect.
