If the chief executive decides to grant an application, the chief executive must, on payment of the fee prescribed under a regulation, issue another key person licence to the applicant to replace the lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged licence. If the chief executive decides to refuse to grant an application, the chief executive must promptly— give the key person licensee an information notice about the decision; and if the chief executive believes the key person licensee is currently an employee or key operator of an authority operator—give a copy of the information notice to the authority operator.
