51 Secretary may amend voluntary assisted dying permit (1) The Secretary may amend a voluntary assisted dying permit if satisfied that the permit contains an administrative error or a minor defect. (2) The Secretary may exercise a power under subsection (1)— (a) on the request of the relevant co-ordinating medical practitioner; or (b) in the Secretary's discretion. (3) The Secretary must notify the relevant co‑ordinating medical practitioner and the Board in writing of any amendment made under subsection (1).
