25 Commencement of consulting assessment The consulting medical practitioner for a person must assess whether the person requesting access to voluntary assisted dying meets the eligibility criteria. The person must meet all eligibility criteria to be assessed as eligible for access to voluntary assisted dying—see section 29(1)(a).
