76 Role of ESC

(1) The ESC is responsible for the general administration of this Act.

(2) Without limiting subsection (1), the ESC's functions under this Act include—

(a) to register persons who may create certificates;

(b) to accredit relevant power stations;

(d) to monitor and administer the creation, registration, transfer and surrender of certificates;

(e) to enforce renewable energy shortfall penalties;

(f) to monitor compliance with this Act.
