30 VEET scheme target The VEET scheme target is— (a) in 2016, 5·4 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent; and (b) in 2017, 5·9 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent; and (c) in 2018, 6·1 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent; and (d) in 2019, 6·3 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent; and (e) in 2020, 6·5 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent; and S. 30(f) amended by No. 33/2021 s. 21. (f) in each year in the period commencing 1 January 2021 and ending 31 December 2025, the target prescribed for that year by regulations made before that year; and S. 30(g) amended by No. 34/2022 s. 32, substituted by No. 15/2025 s. 10. (g) in each of 2026 and 2027, the target prescribed for that year by regulations made not later than 31 May 2025; and S. 30(h) inserted by No. 15/2025 s. 10. (h) in each of 2028, 2029 and 2030, the target prescribed for that year by regulations made not later than 31 August 2027; and S. 30(i) inserted by No. 15/2025 s. 10. (i) in each of 2031, 2032, 2033, 2034 and 2035, the target prescribed for that year by regulations made not later than 31 May 2030; and S. 30(j) inserted by No. 15/2025 s. 10. (j) in each of 2036, 2037, 2038, 2039 and 2040, the target prescribed for that year by regulations made not later than 31 August 2035; and S. 30(k) inserted by No. 15/2025 s. 10. (k) in each of 2041, 2042, 2043, 2044 and 2045, the target prescribed for that year by regulations made not later than 31 May 2040.
