24 Certificates may be transferred S. 24(1) amended by No. 34/2022 s. 23. (1) A certificate registered under section 22 may be transferred to a person who holds a VEET scheme registry account. (2) The ESC must be notified of the transfer of a certificate. S. 24(2A) inserted by No. 34/2022 s. 60, amended by No. 15/2025 s. 39. (2A) The notification must include any information specified in the ESC guidelines. (3) The notification must be by electronic transmission in the manner specified in the ESC guidelines. (4) The notification must be accompanied by any relevant fee fixed under section 73. (5) If the ESC is notified in accordance with this section, the ESC must alter the register of certificates to show the transferee as the owner of the certificate.
