44 Functions of the Tribunal In exercising its original jurisdiction, the Tribunal has the functions conferred on it by or under the enabling enactment, as well as any functions conferred on it by or under this Act, the regulations and the rules. Division 3—Review jurisdiction Subdivision 1—Obtaining reasons for decisions 45 Request for statement of reasons for decision (1) A person who is entitled to apply to the Tribunal for review of a decision, or to have a decision referred to the Tribunal for review, may request the decision-maker to give the person a written statement of reasons for the decision. (2) A request under subsection (1) must be made in writing within 28 days after the day on which the decision was made.
